just checking this out

In saw your post on Mastodon and have been curious to try Meshtastic.  I have not tried any builds yet as I had been hoping to see if there was any local activity before investing much time in it.  The fact you're making this site gives me hope.
I'll be looking for typical beginner info on what works well, etc.  I am fairly well versed in radio and electronics so mostly device recommendations,  what to do first, good learning resources,  etc.

Hi Mark and welcome!

After using meshtastic for a little bit and noticing the others locally, there seems to be a strong presence here in the Shenandoah Valley and some of the surrounding areas. I'm hoping this can become a hub for us Meshing minded folks to come together and make our mesh solid.
